community spring fling

We had an awesome time Saturday at our first ever free community Spring Fling! We had games, a free raffle, crafts, free food, gift bags, a huge ladder truck from the Baltimore County Fire Dept., the launch of our new social media brand "Ron's Daily Joe", and more!

It was supposed to rain, but thankfully it didn't! There were gift bags for all the families that came out and also a free raffle to win a $50 gas gift with a car wash kit. Congratulations to Ellie B from Abingdon who won!

We had several games for the kids to enjoy like the Smash the Frog bean bag toss, Match the Ducks, Egg Run, Ring Toss and more! At each station the children were able to win candy and other prizes!

The Baltimore County Fire Dept. brought out their hugmonguos ladder truck from Station 17 for us to see and enjoy! The ladder extends to over 1, 2,

stories in the air to help the firefighters fight fires and rescue people! It also needs someone, known as the tiller, to steer the back wheels to help navigate it safely on the road!

There was face painting, rock painting, sidewalk chalk art, and balloon animals by Kim's Balloon Art and Face Painting for everyone to enjoy!

We also had the debut of our new social media branch, Ron's Daily Joe! Our idea was to make a social media channel dedicated to brightening your day. Either through a true story of someone being kind to someone else, a good joke, funny meme, or helpful tip, Ron's Daily Joe is your daily dose of good news and can be found on Instagram, Facebook, and Youtube!

It was a great day and we look forward to doing it again!
